Therefore, we recommend when you are in the market for an RV, check the date codes on all the tires. You may be purchasing a 3-year-old RV but the tires could possibly be 4-5 years old.<\/p><p>Here is how you can quickly check the date codes on your RV.<\/p><p>The RV tire Date Code always starts with the letters DOT and ends with a 3- or 4-digit number. The first two numbers indicate the week of the year of manufacture. 52 weeks in a year so that is the max. The last one or two digits tells you the year.
